i'm a bad decider and, as such, the thought of having to pick which music i even like has panicked me for the last few months. so as any good indecisive would, i avoided music blogs and pods and any other mechanism begging me to click a button, make a choice.

but now i'm totally over it and have a new-found enthusiasm for this...

we went to deerhoof last thurs and it was the best thing that's happened in months. high-five to those guys for picking up ed rodriguez because they crush as a four piece—though good for the curtains too, who was their old fourth. third time for me and maybe best. it definitely rivals their show in brooklyn i saw some years back. if they're coming to your town and you like pure joy, i recommend going there.

plus, get their new album, offend maggie, where this song is from that they opened the show with, and i thought appropriate, having come from a utjzz pre-season, and yes, the shirt is from the last album, which also i like.
